Dr Ayad H. Hasan ia an assistant professor of Molecular Microbiology. He obtained BSc degree in Biology and MSc degree in Biotechnology from Mosul University and PhD degree in Molecular Microbiology from Leeds University, UK. He currently service as head of Medical Microbiology department at Koya University. He is teaching undergraduate students Medical Microbiology and postgraduate students Molecular Microbiology and Microbial Genetics. Dr Ayad has many scientific publication; 11 Journal articles and 2 conference papers. He is a member of the Biochemical Society and Society for General Microbiology. Dr Ayad is a team leader at Koya University Research Centre. His research interest includes secondary metabolism in Streptomyces and drug discovery.
