Dr. Bessam Aljewad ![]()

was born in Baghdad, Iraq, in 1974. He received the B.Sc. degree (Hons.) in electronic and communications engineering, the master's degree in communications, and the Ph.D. degree (Hons.) in circuits and systems from Al-Nahrain University, in 1996, 1998, and 2002, respectively. Since 1996, he has been a Lecturer with the Al-Mansour University College, the Baghdad International School, and Al-Nahrain University. In 2003, he joined the Advanced Technology Systems/Research Department as a System Consultant and then, he became the Vice President, where he is involved in the field of VSAT Internet, VOIP, vehicle tracking, and broadband wireless networks. Since 2011, he has been a Staff Member with the Department of Communications and Computer Engineering, Cihan University, where he is currently an Electronic3 and Communications Engineer. In 2016, he was an Adjunct Lecturer with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of New Hampshire. In 2017, he joined Globus Medical as a Senior Scientist in navigation, imaging and robotics. His research interests include statistical signal processing and wavelets.
